MANILA, Philippines – FC Barcelona Escola Camp opened its second camp in the Philippines on Wednesday at the Emperador Stadium, a five-day affair that gives young Filipino footballers the chance to train with coaches from FCB Escola.
Just like the first FC Barcelona Escola camp held last April, FCB Escola coaches Jose Moratalla and Isaac Guerrero have returned to continue in helping the development of the Spanish club’s program in the Philippines.
“Philippine football’s resurgence and growth has proven to be a milestone,” said Michael Reyes, co-head organizer of the FCB Escola Camp Philippines. “We are pleased that FC Barcelona’s philosophy, training and methodology will be passed on to more children as well as local coaches.”
